Reviews and Ratings
My two-night stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were not as clean as expected, with some drink rings left on the bedside table, making me question the overall cleanliness. Unfortunately, the space in the room was also not as spacious as advertised, which was a bit disappointing. On a positive note, the service was excellent despite being directed to the wrong parking spot initially, with cheerful staff members ready to assist. The location was convenient for accessing Martha's Vineyard and downtown Falmouth, but the distance to the elevator from my room was a hassle with luggage. The dining experience was good, with reasonably priced options available, and the facilities met basic needs.
I was thrilled with this hotel's location, being within walking distance from Falmouth village and offering easy access to the beach, shopping, and great restaurants. The rooms were impeccably cleaned and made up, but I did notice some issues with the door's appearance upon arrival. The service was outstanding, with the staff being exceptionally helpful and friendly, even resolving a booking hiccup. However, the dining options were a bit overpriced, and the lack of a free continental breakfast was disappointing.
Upon arrival, I noticed a mix of cigar and mold odors in the room, which was unexpected, and the queen beds for five people were not as spacious as advertised. Additionally, the door's veneer covering was partially ripped off, leaving a less-than-ideal first impression. The service was friendly but overshadowed by the boiler issue they informed us about that occurred before. However, they did help us with a booking error. The hotel's location was convenient for race weekends and exploring, although being far from an elevator was inconvenient. The dining, while not included, was excellent with fried fish as a highlight. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory.
